An annual ceremony of the Global Event Awards 2017 among event agencies of the CIS and Baltic countries took place on 2 February 2018. Olga Popova, RWM Capital HR Director, became a member of the ceremony’s judging panel.
“As it is the second time I have been invited to the judging panel, I can speak about the changes taking place in the event industry,” said Olga. “I am in no doubt that the sphere shows considerable growth. The Awards themselves have become a showcase of the best practices, the most original ideas, and the top innovations of today. All that makes it rather difficult for the event companies to compete. As you see, I am particularly interested in the projects tailored to the HR needs, especially team-building experiences.”
The Global Event Awards are an international ceremony for the event agencies of the CIS and Baltic states. The main objective is to gather in one place the best event professionals, meeting planners, promoters and live communication professionals, and highlight their accomplishments. Even being only the Awards nominee proves the company’s high status in the market.
In 2017, there were 94 applications from 7 different countries.
