Felix Blinov, managing director of RWM Capital Asset Management, took part and made a speech at the special seminar of the Independent Directors Association (IDA) How to Become an Independent Director in Companies with State Participation: the First Steps for Election through Rosimushchestvo.
"I work as an independent director for a long time and I consider corporate governance issues being among the priorities in any structure, said Felix Blinov, there can be no moving forward without corporate management with correctly created motivation, financial control and accurately established relations between the shareholders and the management.
It is very important that the IDA and Rosimushchestvo hold events, at which new independent directors can communicate with those whose experience, good reputation and competence can help improve business performance in a particular sphere.
