RWM Capital Venture Investments announces closing of two transactions for acquisition of the shares in the companies OPTEUM and RoadAR. The project OPTEUM is an existing business offering computerization service for taxi operators. Presently the project geography includes several countries among which are Russia, Azerbaijan, Poland, Georgia, India. The project RoadAR is a promising project which already has attracted the interest of Google which has seen its use for Google Maps application.
“We have closed two venture transactions, - says Sergey Orlov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RWM Capital Investment Group. – Not a bad ending of the year for our venture branch and, I hope, an important event and a good basis for projects for the next year. These projects have special significance for us as they come far outside the scope of mobile applications on which we have been focusing until recently. This autumn we also closed the transaction for acquisition of the shares in such projects as Yagla – the instrument for contextual advertizing specialists and DinVIO - the logistics computerization service for online shops. The total amount of investments into all four projects is 1 million US dollars.
We found three of the four companies at one of the largest and the most dynamic start-up sites - IT Park of the Republic of Tatarstan. It pleases me that young, talented and creative people capable of contributing something new and useful to the world work not only in Moscow. Within the framework of this investment round we focused on B2B service. Some of the projects are existing businesses with a relatively wide customer base.
