October 25, 2013 is the final date of acceptance of applications for the second stage of Open Contest of Innovative Projects – 2013 within the program Fund for Support of Innovative Ventures of National Research University – Higher School of Economics (NRU HSE).
RWM Capital Asset Management invites students, young IT-specialists and anybody who wants to submit applications for participation in special nominations of the company.
On the part of RWM Capital Asset Management the financing will be assigned to teams, implementing the following kinds of developments:
Easy Help 4 Your University services, which facilitate fundraising from graduates of the higher education institution;
Projects of game Be Better With University, earnings from which will be transferred to the endowment fund of the higher education institution.
“HSE, our partner and the organizer, holds the Contest of Innovative Projects already for the fourth year in a row, - says Sergey Orlov, CEO of RWM Capital Asset Management, a member of the Contest committee. – Having reviewed the number of applications submitted during the previous periods, the projects selected and the teams with which HSE cooperates, we realized that there are a lot of talented and creative young people. These particular people will in the nearest future help in solution of not only highly specialized problems set to them, but will in general help in economic development of the country, increase its innovation and technological capabilities.
Within our nominations we offer the participants to demonstrate their talents and direct their efforts on solving one of the most global problems, which many of higher education institutions encounter nowadays. I am saying about the task of attracting additional financing for higher education institutions activities. Under conditions of government financing reduction this problem becomes one of the most burning ones. Higher education institutions need to make rearrangements in terms of their work with potential and existing donors, to create, develop and maintain the system of cooperation with the graduates, to encourage the increase of civil consciousness in their students and to evoke a sense of pride in belonging to this higher education institution in particular. Unfortunately not all but just a few higher education institutions know how to implement these ideas.
We expect that students and young specialists in particular may help in solving of the problem. The winners in our nominations will receive a special grant from RWM Capital Asset Management for development of a business plan for the Project generation and implementation, the amount of which will constitute 200,000 roubles after tax. The winners will also receive a certificate for 50-hour training on team leadership and a professional consultation on business plan development.
The training will include such topics as team management with working out teamwork skills and basic management competences of the management team members, market research and analysis, consulting services on carrying out researches and processing of results, development of the company marketing strategy and working out an implementation program on the product market promotion and many others. Training services will be provided by experts from Higher School of Economics.
