RWM Capital acted as the general sponsor of the concert “Touring Musician” - the Bulat Okudzhava Commemoration Meeting. The concert took place on November 29, 2014 in Tchaikovsky Concert Hall.
“We have been cooperating with the Museum and the Bulat Okudzhava Foundation for two years. The concert “Touting Musician” is one of the events organized by Olga Vladimirovna Okudzhava and supported by our company, - says Sergey Orlov, CEO of RWM Capital Asset Management. – On the last Saturday of November fans of the great poet gather in Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in order to remember Bulat in friendly atmosphere and to once again listen to their favorite poems and songs performed by famous actors and singers. There are a few fans of B. Okudzhava in our company and they received invitations to the concert as a New Year gift.
The concert moderator Yuli Gusman noted that everyone could find in poems and songs by the famous bard something in tune with his or her mood, any event or life situation. The eternal themes of love and hope, loyalty and conscientiousness, nobility and honor never fail to touch the hearts of listeners of those simple but very wise songs by Bulat Okudzhava. The poet has not been with us for more than seventeen years but many of his songs still feel so up-to-date as if they were written only yesterday.
The concert “Visiting Musician” gathered the full house of friends and fans of the bard. Both renowned (V. Gaft, S. Kryuchkova, V. Kachan) and new performers appeared before the audience and were accepted with equal warmth. Having left everyday problems and trifles outside the concert hall and having attuned his or her heart to love, each participant of the concert repeated after the performers and Bulat Okudzhava himself.
