The Head of Direction for Venture Investments Development of RWM Capital Yan Smelnitskiy took part as an expert in residential expert session of Russian Startup Rating for IT-startups. In the process of the session the expert jury evaluated 16 projects offering different web-services, technologies and software.
“Such events and the rating itself are very useful and needed, - comments Yan Smelnitskiy. - This is an instrument which gives some feedback to the market. Generally, it does preliminary work for investors helping to filtrate and screen out uninteresting projects. For me personally it is more convenient not to have to search through the whole pipeline but to focus on those projects which have been rated A and higher”.
Yan Smelnitskiy suggested to reduce the time of review of a project by an expert and thanked the hosts for the presented opportunity to participate in the event.
