RWM Capital Investment Group, in collaboration with Krasnoyarsk Recycling Company, has launched the production of its third series of thematic videos for social media platforms, addressing the recycling of solid waste and the importance of reducing consumption.
The initial video series, titled “Sort Smartly,” underscores the significance of segregating waste and ensuring its proper recycling. Prominent Krasnoyarsk residents who fervently endorse this initiative are featured, showcasing tangible examples of what can be crafted from plastic, glass, and aluminum waste.
The subsequent installment, “Live Sustainably,” delves into the fact that not all waste is recyclable. Therefore, minimizing waste entails discontinuing the use of disposable items such as tableware, coffee cups, razors, plastic bags, and more. In this latest video series, “Consume Responsibly,” the focus shifts to thoughtful consumption and conscientious handling of possessions. Additionally, attention is drawn to the ease with which waste can be repurposed, sometimes as simple as passing an item on to someone who needs it more. In addition, another path to responsible consumption lies in refraining from purchasing unnecessary items.

Certainly, with new technological solutions and modern infrastructure emerging, waste can be better sorted, increasing the yield of valuable fractions. However, isn't it simpler just not to create the problem in the first place? As Professor Preobrazhensky in 'Dog's Heart' once said, 'Ruin is not caused by lavatories but it's something that starts in people's heads.' To reduce waste, we must begin by promoting responsible consumption, starting with ourselves and our habits."
